Quick Guide to Fixing Your Car After an Accident
What You Need to Know and Do
If you have ever been in an accident, then you know the feeling. The adrenaline is going, so you’re not sure yet if you’re hurt. When you discover that you’re in one piece, you’re flustered and can’t think clearly. These are the times you need a specific plan in place, so that you don’t have to think, you just set it in motion.
This is the perfect time to let Big Sky Collision Center take over. You have enough to worry about, and having your vehicle repaired doesn’t need to be one of them. Here’s how to proceed.
Take Pictures of the Accident
After an accident your brain is working overtime. There are two reasons for taking pictures. First, you may need them later for insurance purposes. Second, you can use them with our handy EZ Estimate tool. Be sure to get plenty of pictures, from all sides of the vehicle, to ensure that you have captured every aspect of the damage.
Get Your Estimate for Repairs
There are two ways to get an estimate. If the accident was minor, and you’re not in danger driving the vehicle, then you can drive it down to the shop and we can inspect it in person. But you don’t have to bring it all the way in for that. Using the EZ Estimate tool, we can get you an estimate so that you can make an informed decision. Remember, if insurance will be paying for the repairs, you have the right to choose the auto body shop of your choice.
